I write the books I want to read...

I've been writing since I was a pre-teen. I'm not embarrassed to say I started with fan fiction...playing with beloved characters built by beloved authors. Gradually, my own "OCs" (original characters, as they are called in fanfic lingo!) started creeping in. Eventually, those OCs gave me the confidence to begin crafting my own plots. I still go back and dabble in fanfic once in a while if I'm experiencing writer's block with my original works of fiction.

I write families as they should be. Close. Loving. Supportive. The families not all of us get but all of us deserve. I write found families...the ones we build for ourselves.
Above all, I write love...in all of its forms.
